Frank Lloyd Wright's Unity Temple
Frank Lloyd Wright’s Unity Temple is an icon of modern architecture and an international treasure. One of the best known works of America’s most famous and controversial architect, its innovative form and use of materials had an immensely important influence on the modern movement in architecture. Widely recognized as one of the world’s most inspiring sacred spaces, Unity Temple now stands as the oldest Wright-designed structure that is still in the hands of its original owners and used for its original purpose. It was Wright’s first sacred space and is the last surviving public building from his prolific Prairie period.
